Family History day

Wednesday

Susan came and picked me up at 12:00 to go see Aunt Blanch. She is my Grampa Dave Brown's brother's wife, so Aunt to my mom.

She lives in a nursing home, and Susan goes and visits during lunch time. I got to have some conversations with her, and she remembered who Raylene was. I showed her this picture below, and she started to smile.

There were a lot of words I couldn't catch, but according to Susan, she was talking a lot more than usual, so that made her happy :)

After that, we went to 25th street to Karen's Cafe

I ran into Chelsie Ellis!! She works there part time, and it had been sooooo long since I'd seen her last! I think we were in Highschool, so 14 years? Ya, that is depressing.........

We hit the Family History Lirary afterwards, and did a little bit of Familytree studying, and went over to Jeff and Leah's so that Leah could teach us how to do indexing. It was fun :)

It was a good day to discover new things about family and our history.

Doctor's checkup #4 and Show and Tell

Tuesday.

I went to see Doctor Cardona again, for a routine check-up. I get this once a week since I have less than a month to go. She said everything was normal, and that I am no where near delivery. Good thing, cause I still have a good 3 weeks left in me.

After the check-up, Becki was kind enough to take me to Ogden Regional Hostpital, where I plan to push out the little Godzilla of mine, and a nurse took us on a tour. They said they had Wifi which is good, cause Daddy needs to see his little dude, and grandparents need to see him too. They said I would deliver in the same room I would be staying so I wouldn't have to move, the baby could also stay in my room through the entire hospital stay.

Now all we need is a doctor for the baby and we are set to go! o wait, I still need an ergo-baby, some ointments, and diapers, and so on........

gotta go shopping!!!

But we had another mission we had to accomplish before that. Show and tell.

Lindsy wanted me to come into class and do some Japanese in front of them, so I made each kid a sheet of paper with each of their names on it.

They could see their names, see the Japanese, trace them for a couple of times, and practice below. I put some smiley faces on the ends of their names, and some of them were more interested in coloring the faces, but overall, it was fun :)

Becki texted me later that night saying that Lindsy came home and told her that EVERYBODY wanted to play with her for recess that day. :)

Cute kids those Westergards :)

General Conference

Sunday.

General Conference, so we didn't go to church. I got up, got ready in time to sit in front of the TV to watch the prophet speak while eating Kesa Cookin'.

It's a Hadley tradition that we watch Conference while eating Kesa Cookin'.

Steve would make a ton, and the kids would come eat it as they please.

We had the Westergards, the Henleys, and Haggards come by and snatch a whole bunch of food, and just had a relaxing day upstairs with the grownups, and I'm sure a crazy day with the kids downstairs.

This day just went by so quick, I didn't get any pictures.......o well.

It was all good :)

Baby Shower #3!!

Saturday.

Becki, Anne and I were set to go to SLC to do some intense shopping, but instead, we ended up leaving a lot later, and spending tooo much time eating lunch, so we ended up shopping for Nothing. O well, the food was great!!

We all ended up ordering something MEAT. Anne had the Ribs, Becki had the Beef Stroganof, and I had the Roastbeef BBQ sandwich.

We were quite full when we left, realizing we had A LOT less time than intended, we headed out to Kati's house where she had a baby shower for me!!

My Weber High friends came out, and it was soooo good to see them! We were talking the whole time, and for the first time, I didn't feel like I was 30! I felt like 16 :)

All the Mommies had sooooo much experience to offer, they all said.

"YURI, GET THE EPIDURAL!!!"

Now I'm considering :)

Anne's Birthday!!!

Friday.

Today was our Mom's birthday :)

So the girls got together at Becki's house, and had brunch.

Anne Brown Hadley

Mother of 5, Gramma of 22, and still has room to welcome me into her home. She loves to shop for her boys and girls, and includes me and my lil Godzilla also. Truely an amazing woman!

We had OJ (Becki's favorite beverage), spinach omlette, and a green smoothie that Heidi made. Nice and healthy food :)

Later in the evening, Dave and Natalie came and picked me up go out to Kirts Drive inn. We had Bella with us, so had dinner in the car. She is such a good girl, and she does NOT jump on you just because you have food. She knows what is right and what is wrong. She is just so amazing!

After that, we went to Zeppe's

Again, I thought I got a picture of Dave, but I just can't find it.......

stupid phone, I keep losing pictures.

Marc and Bekah Clements

Thursday

Had dinner at Marc and Bekah Clements'.

Marc came and picked me up at 17:30. And he could not get over the fact that I was 30 years old, and pregnant. He repeatedly told me that I should be 3 years old, cause he still had vivid memories of me when I was 3. I wasn't sure if I wanted him to share those memories with me or not, surely it was going to be emberrasing.....

We got to their house, and Anderson, Parker, and Winn were there waiting. Anderson was SOOO tall! I saw him 2 years ago, and it felt like I hadn't seen him for 10years! He is 13. I looked at Marc, told him "You think I should be 3, and you have a freakishly tall 13year old son........". Parker was as sweet as usual. smiling, and being a happy boy. His smile always melts my heart. Winn. O my gosh, 2 years ago, he was barely making sounds, and now she just can't stop talking!! She wanted to explain everything, wanted to be involved in every single conversation, even though she had no idea what we were talking about. It was hilarious!!

Bekah made some mean coconut chicken, potatoes, and dinner was just heavenly. I need that recipi. I made her promise she would feed me again. haha.

Bekah had to leave for a meeting after dinner, so she took off, and the kids started to play outside, so we watched them go up and down the street with the trike, scooter, and a tiny little bike. They were just giggling, running around, so fun to watch!

I thought I took pictures, but I just can't find them......

It got a little chilly, so Marc and I went inside and just kept on talking and talking and talking. It was a very nice night.

I need to go back there real soon!!!
