This last weekend was something else!
I was bagging these little pencil cases, all 480 of them with 4 people, and it took ALL DAY!!! So, after my head was exhausted from not being used all day, me and my folks headed out for BATO this weekend.
We stopped by at this new sushi restaurant that they usually go to on the way, and stopped by at 7-11 (of course dad HAD to get some sweets for the road), and 4 hours after leaving our lovely home in tokyo, finally arrived to BATO. In the Mountains. It's in the middle of nowhere! (for those who have never been there)
Satuday, got up at around 11:00am. Early for me huh? I know! I was a good girl this weekend :)
After breakfast, my dad started torching his beloved lawn! I thought he went MAD!! but apparently t is a good way to kill bugs and grass you don't want there. Or so he says......
yup, that's him and his torch.....
And after having a brief conversation, we realised that a lot of dad's work shirts are getting dirty beyond washing-machine cleaning, so we decided to go shopping for some white shirts. OF COURSE I had to tag along.....naturally, I got a new pair of cargo pants! Hurray! I fit in UNIQLO PANTS!!!!
So after we had a nice NABE for dinner, mom decided that we would play Maxican train. (I know, shocker huh?) My family has been addicted to this game (espacially mom) ever since Leah introduced it to us. It's sort of a MUST do thing when we go up. Here is what it looked like.
Close game guys ;)
That was Sturday.... SUNDAY BOTH MY PARENTS started torching the whole place!!
Mom was burning the burnable garbage
Dad was burning the lawn (again)
Mom was burning all the dead leaves and such on the ground.....
My new pants got so smoky, it was sad. I also got a chance to play with the back-hoe and dig some dirt up in preparation to making a new flower garden. By the time I was done digging, we were too exhausted to actually plant, so that's gonna have to wait for another few weeks.
This picture is for you Spencer!!
Monday........INVENTORY!!!!!
It was the 4 of us that ended up counting over 4000items!
This was my weekend......exciting, isn't it?
All I need to do now, is head back to tokyo, and do THIS inventory on tuesday.......phew!
