update on the quake

It has been 57hours.

Here are the updates

1. Casualties were first reported as around 60 people. Now the government is looking at somewhere around tens of thousands.

2. People are talking about another major earthquake hit in the next few days. 50-70% probability.

3. We are still experiencing aftershocks as we speak.

4. Electricity will start to get cut off in rotation starting tomorrow so the energy will be spent for those in need.

5. Some are saying that there is radiation leakage from the nuc power plants and that we should be careful when going outside. (some claim this is just a hoax, but I'm thinking better be safe than sorry on this one.)

Although we are still having these after waves, for me the whole thing does not seem real. All my friends are ok, and particularly the area I live in did not get that much damage. A few cracks in buildings, a mirror fell and broke, these are the maximum I have experienced.

I turn on the TV, and I swear EVERY channel has this news on. These aweful footage does not even look like Japan to me. And then I hear someone say that the probability of another major mag7 hitting us on the next few days is pretty high. This IS scary.

I really appreciate all your prayers, messages, calls for us, and those who are in more dire need of them than us. At times like this, you get to think a lot about stuff you usually don't. You start blaming yourself for not making the best out of every second of your life. You feel like you are wasting life, time energy, chances, everything. (At least I know i do.)

Bottom line is, tomorrow's monday, and I will go to work, do my job and try to make the best of it. If another earthquake happens, you just gotta do what you gotta do.

I love you guys. REALLY.

keep you posted.
