update 3

Okay, it has been 93houors.

At first, it was reported the size of the quake is Mag. 7.9. Then 8.4. Now they are saying it was 9.0!!

The trains are still jammed due to shortage of electricity. Some lines remain completely stopped and some only 20% are moving.

Yushi usually takes less than an hour to get here, but last night he ended up walking home more than half, so it took a good 5 hours.

I woke up this morning thinking I was sleeping in a boat, but in reality the whole house was shaking. We have been experiencing so many after shocks that it almost is to the point where I feel the ground is constantly moving.

Narita airport area is a disaster. We cannot get our goods cleared, and since the place is jammed, we are hearing reports that some of the goods are not even making it TO narita. This is a big influence to our business. (Although talking business does not feel right at this moment, but they say SOMEBODY has to keep the economy running.)

I know I'm making it sound worse than it really is. For us, it's just the inconvenience and that is all. For those is the Tohoku area, houses and shops are in the verge of collapsing. I have told you that no body I know got hurt (all the LDS missionaries in Japan are accounted for, just in case you haven't heard.), but today my boss called out customer who lives up north, and they say some the family members of their employees are not found yet.

We are trying our best to cut down on electricity. Last night I had to chase Keita everywhere around the house cause he kept on leaving the lights on. He got mad at me when I turned off the light on him when he was still in the bathroom. HAHAHA (see, I can write funny stuff still. not ALL of me is depressed.)

My dad and I went our for a walk after dinner last night to check out on the stores. No food on the shelves. We got some instant ramen that we found on our 3rd store. It was so sad to see all the emptiness.

I am going out tonight with my 2 neighbor friends for dinner. I will let you know how that goes. This should be fun :)

This is all I have for now. Some say there might be a big hit tomorrow 70% probability, and in the next 3 days 50%.

I guess we'll see.
