Today was a full day.
Anne, Steve and I bottled some Pears! Well, they did and I kinda helped.
Steve would boil them, peel them, and I would cut it in half, and finally Anne would take out the insides, but them in smaller pieces and put them in the bottles. Steve did the sealing.
Bottling, Canning, whatever you call it, this feels like Utah to me. When I was here for a year, I was never around to help. and Although it is already mid season of this fruit season, I look forward to doing some more. This is fun ( especially because I don't have to do it every year. ha!)
After that, Anne and I met up with Heidi and Caitlin at a fabric shop called K&H Quilt Shoppe.

We are making a quilt at the baby shower for little Godzilla! The thought was exciting! the process........confusing and brain melting......I needed to decide on colors, and I thought that was the only thing I needed to do.
Wrong.
There were so many patterns! shapes, animals, stripes, polka dots, colors, trimming, backside, AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
The lady at the store was super nice, and she practically walked us through on how to match the colors, and how much of which fabric we are going to need........I was listening......it just didn't sink in. We tried another store, because this place didn't have the fabric we wanted for the backside. We found it at our next stop and were pretty happy about that :)
Afterwards, the Haggards needed to go to the boys' soccer game, so we parted ways, and Anne and I went out for lunch with David. Here again, I ordered this great club sandwich, and sort of finished it all.....man, my appetite!

Here, when you order a combo, it comes with either soup or fries, and a Donut. I was happy :)
Anne went home, and Dave and I hung out at his place for a while. I didn't get to see his back yard last time because it was covered in snow, but this time, we took our time. We had a couple hours, and headed out to SLC to get a haircut from Natalie! I was excited!!
Here is Before
After
Yes, Major Change!!
Here is another shot of another person getting hair chopped off.
During the whole process, she was just talking, and cutting away. I got scared, and had to stop her and ask if she knew what she was doing. She was moving so quickly!!
After we closed shop, we went out for dinner at O Mai's Vietnamese restaurant.

Again, sooooo good! Natalie and David always know where to go, and what to eat. She usually chooses my food because I simply cannot decide what to get, and I kid you not, she is ALWAYS on the dot! ALWAYS!!!
We stopped by at Parkins' and said Hi to Natalie's parents, and went over to Spencer's place and visited some more. I didn't get to see Spencer last time, so it was soooooo good to finally see him after these years!
Dave took me home and got there at about 11. I fell asleep on him multiple times, and felt really bad. sorry..........
